Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi could be tempted to pen his contract
renewal if Angel Di Maria arrives at Barcelona.
The Spanish giants are looking to strengthen their squad before the
transfer window shuts on Thursday.
And Paris St-Germain star Di Maria has emerged as a top target for
Ernesto Valverde.
According to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Messi is desperate for the
deal to get done.
Messi is yet to commit to a lucrative new contract, but Di Maria's
arrival could be the game changer.
It's suggested the Argentine superstar wants the 29-year-old to strut
his stuff and the Nou Camp.
The duo link up well together for the Argentina national team.
And Messi wants to be reunited with his compatriot.
Di Maria has rebuilt his career at PSG following a disappointing stint
at Manchester United.
